This project involved land assemblage and IRC 1033 tax treatment (friendly condemnation) for one of the owners to develop and construct the first Class A office building in Fairfield. This 3-story building also had the first underground parking in the city. The prime location, adjacent to a 1 million square foot regional mall and downtown Fairfield, at a highly visible intersection, has ensured the long-term success of this project. All design and entitlement work was coordinated by Scott Sheldon as a principal of the owner/developer.
