The project manager was engaged to develop a K-8 private school. Work included land acquisition negotiations with the owner, the City of Vacaville Redevelopment Agency, and engaging all project professionals, including architects, civil engineers, geotechnical consultants, and the general contractor. The project manager developed RFPs & RFQs and recommended selections for all project professionals. The project manager coordinated and facilitated title issues, including a lot line adjustment and acquisition of property from a neighbor. All major systems were designed and built.
The project manager, as part of their scope of work, negotiated, developed, and implemented many value engineering ideas to bring the project within budget. In addition, the project manager developed critical path schedules.
