The start of construction is the implementation of many decisions already made.
Construction is bringing life to a two-dimensional drawing. While cost management and sequencing ensure bottom line performance, in order to be successful during this phase of a project, the project manager must understand the initial development parameters and underlying assumptions to meet your goals. Managing each project is akin to running a small company with many divisions: finance (lender), factory workers (contractors), sales and marketing (brokers), product design (architect and engineers), consumers, and end users (tenants). All have specific tasks, needs, and goals, with the executive team (project manager) responsible for seamless integration of effort and delivery of the final product on time and on budget.
